Dropkick Murphys put out an album of Woody Guthrie songs called This Machine Still Kills Fascists -- there's some good punk-with-a-banjo tunes on there. Also: Jackknife was great fun!
We loved having you here! It sounds kiss ass, but it was an honor to meet you and see you’re just a regular Joe 😊. Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you come back.
Completely agree with you on the werewolf in the book, The Devils. The chapter where Vigga (werewolf) is tasked with collecting a bucket of water for the rest of the Devils had me on the edge of my seat! Just Preordered the Black Phone via Subterranean Press last night. Looking forward to reading the afterword by C. Robert Cargill. Keep up the good work Joe.
Oh no the Barnes and Noble event in NYC on May 13 sold out before I could grab a ticket for Nancy and I... :( it's been so long since I have seen you Joe. I have been meaning to reach out.. I think you would dig some of the cool projects I've been working on. Hopefully there is a way we can connect and catch up soon.

Happy Easter King Sorrow! Eat well.
Check out John 5 and the Creatures if you haven’t already.
It’s electrified (mostly), but there’s a whole lotta of banjo playing going on.
Ooo. That looks great!

One can never have too much Joe (can they??)!!
No.
Whew, if you said I would be in trouble.
Any dates for a book tour yet (or really just a Bay Area one is all I need...he says, selfishly).
So many good things on the way, starting with that Shivers! Popping over to get it...
Watched that video of King Sorrow coming out of the mailing pouch. Holy wah, that is a thick tome!
Always a pleasure, thanks Joe.
What a Joe-vial wonderful newsletter! 🤣
