Perhaps Horns was for a specific time in life and not a person? My favorite… Horns. I want you to remember what was good in me, not what was most awful. The people you love should be allowed to keep their worst to themselves.
Skipping the desert this go 'round? Maybe you could come to the Tucson Festival of Books next year. The Sonoran Desert, in late March, has GOT to be better than Maine! It's in the 70s & 80s here. We're all in flip-flops & shorts.
Hi Joe - I'm actually a member of the BSI. I don't recall seeing your name on the roster. While you may have been invited to a dinner, that does not confer membership upon you. You'd know if you received your Irregular shilling or not.
Thank you as always, for sharing a sneak peek into your life and behind the scenes! I can't wait to receive my King Sorrow copy from WSB. Much love from this lifelong fan & librarian up here in Alaska! I hope your UK trip and the US/CA tour go awesomely. :)
Not to nit pick, but I'm gonna anyway, no SF appearance?? Any chance of additional dates (he says, after already seeing that jam packed tour schedule)??
Whining over with, love these updates...can't wait for the book, the flick and the Holmes short...all the best, good sir!
WHISTLE is amazing!
More details about the UK swing in the next newsletter, no doubt.
Also: there'll be another novel out in 2026 (Hunger), so if I didn't get to your neck of the woods for this one, maybe I will next year.
I know Iggy dislikes the west coast but will Joe Hill ever sign the books there? Speaking of whom, I’m curious who was Horns for? ❤️🔥
Sorry didn’t see San Diego 🔥

You should come down south... would love to come to a signing! Houston has a great little bookstore "Murder by the book" that does great signings!
Will you have KING SORROWS at NYCC?
yes!
Definitely pre-orderedit as soon as I 2as aware
Halloween in Ireland. Where it all began?
Looking forward to reading this! Enjoy your summer vacay.

Feel free to check out some of my work at https://ihearofsherlock.substack.com - the world's first Sherlock Holmes podcast (est. 2007).
Mhm, I might've been offered membership and then never confirmed it, or maybe was only invited to a dinner. Been a while.
Would love to see if we can get you invited to the dinner again.
Pleased to see you will be at Warwicks in my birthplace and hometown, La Jolla. I was recently wondering if Warwicks was still open. 🤘🏼
Colorado @Joe Hill!!
